8th Middle East CEO of the Year Awards

Organized by Middle East Excellence Awards Institute, the 8th Middle East CEO of the Year Awards was held on the 20th of April, 2011, at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai. In today's rapidly changing world, a variety of concerns related to increased competition, share prices, geopolitical uncertainties, rising operational costs, and more, consistent execution of strategy by top management and many other factors are challenging CEOs and decision-makers everywhere, threatening to undermine or negate even their most comprehensive business strategies and outstanding management skills. The aim of the summit was to discuss how to build and develop a culture of competitive leadership that is able to compete in the global market and honour deserving individuals and institutions for their leadership roles.

Ali Al Kamali, Chairman, Middle East Excellence Awards, elaborates stating, "The forum will discuss how best to perfect our leaders to contribute to the growth of the nation and ultimately in achieving the strategies and global goals of the country. It has become necessary to work towards developing competencies and skills that leaders need, and provide them with the latest best practices, leadership strategies and experiences which will enable them to continue to progress and achieve more in their fields."

'The 8th Middle East CEO of the Year Awards' was held in conjunction with the 8th Leading CEO Summit conference and honoured deserving individuals for their outstanding leadership roles.
